I never heard one positive thing about this show, which was why I never gave it a listen. Finally, I gave in one day. It was not the utter shitfest that some made it out to be. Sure, there are sloppy parts to be found here. However, I found it to be an interesting listen. Not that I gravitate towards this one often, and it will certainly not be in your top show list. When you want something very different out of your Phish experience, though, this Amsterdam show will do.

yeah...this is Phish on Amsterdam pot. I remember this tape from years ago. Sloppy, messy, and the "Ska" groove is completely strange. There are some positives, but all in all it's mostly a fun novelty listen. Still worth it...but I say that about almost...almost...every Phish show.

First and third sets are great, if I remember correctly.

The second set is a pure joke. Sounds like a Holloween Costume: Phish as themselves stoned out of their gourds.

This is definitely a classic, one for the weak of heart.
