Sorry for the delay, but 2 flights after an hour sleep.... Not my favorite Ratdog show. Lots of folks were groovin' and asked me to up this. The Goin' Down the Road, Black-Throated, and Ripple were the parts I enjoyed. i was hopin' to see Warren join in, but it never materialized.
Enjoy!

| Thanks for sharing! For some reason, I was thinking this was a stealthy venue. |

| i hear ya Z. it was a lackluster show in my (and my wife's) opinion. REALLY slow for the most part. But it was a good time none the less and the allman bros SMOKED! fun time at ol pine knob! thanks for the up. |

Hey thanks alot for sharing this. I gotta say that I am really glad that Warren Haynes didn't join as I'm not at all a fan of the guy, but I was hoping to see Derek come out if anybody was going to.
Ratdog's set was great, they were on, nice jams, but I was hoping for a better setlist. TMNS is always fun for a start, but I enjoyed the BTW and Black Peter the most. I was hoping for a rocker as an encore and could have done without the Ripple as I have had that ending too many times.
Allman's set was ok, I was mostly there for Bobby & Co. though, so ABB was basically a nice little bonus for me. As I wouldn't normally drive more than 4 or 5 hours to see ABB, as I did last night.
All in all, it was a fun night. Thanks again for sharing your recording. |

I forgot to mention that 'Just Like Mama Said' was after 'Baby Blue'.

| hey don't get me wrong. i don't wanna come off as a hater. i think bobby has surrounded himself with some top notch musicians and the band is tight. really liked the way the minglewood was arranged. i guess it would be more accurate to say that the setlist was not as i would have written it. but that's part of the fun, right?! next time ratdog is near, you can bet that i'll be there. |

Just wanted to comment on the sound now that I have heard the recording and I gotta say it sounds great.
There are some conversations audible here and there but nothing too annoying.
Thanks again! |

I was at the Chicago Show on the 28th! Smoking show with a Attics of my life closer that was outstanding. Bobby sat in with ABB and did I shall be released in a JGB fashion. Killer. I hope to see this come up. There were only two or three tapers from what I could see.
Peace!

Hey thanks a bunch for positng this. I recently moved into Lansing MI to attend school. This show happened to pop up a few days before classes started and the ball really got rollin'. I couldn't find anyone to go w/ so I headed out alone, which turned out to be the right choice. I stumbled upon some great heads (Two twin broths Dan n Drew from bout a half hour from where the venue is, Thanks so much you guys for everything, really made my night). This was my first show in MI so I def. wanna have it in the collection.
I was happy w/ Bobby's performance here, there were def. some highlights. BTW was just amazing to hear, been chasing this one for a while now. Lost Sailor>St. was great, GTTRFB, Baby blue & Mingle wood all rocked.
The venue was half full from RD through ABB, that ish wouldn't fly back east esp. where Im from in NJ, these shows get maximum respect and normally come close to sellin out. How bout them voutures?? Get a lawn tik at the door for $10 flat w/ one of those n they're everywhere, now that they need back east.
Thanks again! |

| Thanks for sharing this. It wasn't the best Ratdog set by far being a mellow set and all but I had a great time anyway. Three cheers for all the tapers! |
