-- The masters disapeared with a friend many years ago"
Hmmm... whacked? Did the tapes disappear and *then* he disappeared? Also, is this guy still a "friend"?
Remember, "Shows before bros, dude."
Har, harr, har.
Kidding, of course. I rmember one time a "friend" (along with another friend and my younger brother, who couldn't do any more than he did to prevent it) just couldn't wait until I got back from work... even though there was plenty of time. Gee, thanks. I think it was the *other* Mountain View show I didn't see [Oct. '89] (I did see the show that got "Maggie's Farm" onto the So Many Roads box set, or wherever it appeared...). Bill Graham was riding around the lot on a scooter talking to Heads. Cool times. I would have only dug Shoreline sitting in the seats up front, I think the turf is an abomination... but that's just me. Actualy, any brainiac could figure it out that it should be standing in front, sitting in back, am I right, folks? All you old farts (older than me, and *I am* one at 45...) who can get the energy to stand for three hours to be close to the band stay out of this... ; ) Anyway...
|Awesome sounding recording - alive and energetic. Much thanks to CM and the seeder of course.
|Thanks for sharing this.
"awesome sounding recording' well, not really.
I dl'ed this because of this statement.
You can tell it was taped up in the rafters.
This is a sweet show, playing wise. Its just a shame the taper didn't get better seats for the show.
Not to sound ungrateful for the share, i was just a little let down after someone falsely states the sound quality.
