There is a published photo from 6/5/78 of Mickey Hart standing at the soundboard with headphones on, and Betty Cantor Jackson looking on. So it's for sure that Mickey has heard this recording!!
Warren Zevon opened for the Dead and apparently was completely wasted. Apparently he made some obnoxious comments to the audience, and in return, got booed from the audience. His set is in circulation I believe at might be worth tracking down.
Nowadays I suppose that most Deadheads like Zevon's music so the incident at Campus Stadium has been long forgotten. |

My mum was at a garage sale this past summer and came across a poster with a photo of this whole stage and show which she bought for me. I never looked it up but so cool to see it here.

| The Kingfish show from the Beacon was released as a double CD by King Biscuit. I am sure you can get it on Ebay or possibly at a used CD store if you look hard enough. |

I had the privledge of attending this show, what a great memory. the band was in great form. Yes Warren was blotto, but good. Beatiful backdrop for the stage, all done by the students. Never forget that after the show was over, we got to our car and realized we lost the keys. Walked back into the stadium as they were tearing down, walked over to approximately were we were for the show, and there in all the mess on the grass were the keys!
