Thanks again. Keep 'em coming. It's so nice to hear cheese I haven't heard before.
reddevil429 2008-09-14 10:09:36

Pre-99 Cheese has always been the best IMO. Before the "untz, untz, untz" years. I still enjoyed shows all the way to the end...but this is the stuff that hooked me in the first place.
LeoS 2008-09-14 22:12:52
that's funny: I just transferred my DAT of this last week
mbrow7 2008-09-14 23:55:14
Thanks for the Phresh Cheese Transfer. I miss these guys.
ActionBro 2008-09-15 03:13:33
I totally agree with the "untz, untz, untz" comment. I really like the more bluegrassy early cheese myself. Thanks for the fresh shows!
issac 2008-09-15 23:06:22
thanks for the show, been looking for this for a long time! :)

quick question, anyone else notice what appears to be a pretty substantial dropout at ~2:58 of 'Land's End'? Just wondering how much may be missing, as well as how big of a dropout there is in 'Got What He Wanted'.

certainly not complaining, just wanted to see if others heard this as well....

Mistercharlie 2008-09-16 17:05:06
I had always typed that sound as "mm-ch, mm-ch, mm-ch", but I like "untz, untz, untz" much better. And I totally agree with the comment, I like them better from 2000 and earlier.
Mistercharlie 2008-09-16 22:31:03
Now that I've listened to this show, I have to correct the setlist. The first song in the second set isn't 'The Road Home' it's 'Lonesome Fiddle Blues'.
daveharryman 2008-09-16 22:56:42
Thanks a bunch Ryan, this one looks sick! Bigger->Land's->Smile? Little Hands->Planet opener? Stingray!
gypsydaze 2008-09-21 12:03:12
this show jams..love that earlier sound..and great editing job..@issac, i noted your comment re: Land's End...not complaining either...
