As you may or may not know we are planning to upload the gd_1968_project once we are done with the gd_1973_project.
For the gd_1968_project we would like to include as many of the older sources as we can find. If anyone has any of these older sources to help The_Bus out, we would really appreciate it......as you can see we have enough to run the project already.

I've been seeding non-stop for the past couple of days and periodically I get that message but even when I get it I am still uploading, but it is not registering on the tracker here & when I check regarding seeders I am not listed. In addition on the main page it will say 30 or so seeders but when I check the full list there are only 10 or so and I am not one of them.
Then when I come back later, the not authorized message is gone and I am in the full list.
This is without me doing anything.
I also had the same problem on part 7, but the same thing happened where even when it said not authorized I was still uploading.

I'm having the same problem. I was downloading fine, went to bed expecting to wake with a finished file. Woke up to "Critical: Aborting the torrent as it was rejected by the tracker while not connected to any peers. Message from the tracker: requested download is not authorized for use with this tracker"
Now I can't recover the speed I originally obtained & got the message repeatedly when I left it connected overnight - "Error: rejected by tracker - requested download is not authorized for use with this tracker"
What setting is causing me to be rejected? Anyone know?
Am connected tp the internet through an Airport Express. Have 40 ports open & had 20 connections 2 nights ago.
Don't think this is the place to post connection problems but I haven't had luck finding a solution anywhere else.

| Enable dth on your client. I'm still seeding several of these, but I get the same error. Some torrents show only dth connections so me so you better enable it and finish while you can. |

Thanks theo for the reply. I'm not familiar with dth (direct to home?). I was able to reconnect last night & still had a connection this morning. I had approx 1 gig left to go this morning.
Apparently Optimum Online may have been the problem. They responded to my inquiry & said '... the capability of the modem for standard Optimum Online user is 15 mbps down and 2 mbps up, if you create a situation where you will degrade other users Internet experience your modem will be blocked forcing you to contact our phone support or you will get a link with a phone number to contact security....."
Found Optimum Online mentioned as a problem in the FAQ section.

I was having this problem as well with BitTornado (starting earlier in the week)... Using UTorrent, I still recvd error message but was able to force start dls...
Anyway, BitTornado has started working again for me... are ppl still having problems? (i.e. recving error message: "rejected by tracker - requested download is not authorized for use with this tracker") ? |
