| Some of those "old people" were members of Trey's family. I sat directly behind his mother and father and some other family members. It was great to see their reactions, most notably to Divided Sky. His wife had an intense , joyful look watching Divided Sky. It was a great night of music in a beautiful auditorium. |

| I'm sorry, am I the only one that almost fell asleep while playing back time turns elastic? I was thinking that it sounded like a cheesy Disney movie playing out of my speakers. Now, I'm no newbie to Trey and Phish's music, but if this is any indication of what's to come, I'm getting nervous. Let's just hope this orchestra thing is a one shot deal, yeah it's cool and everything, but I don't know. I'm glad that trey is doing well and having fun, but I don't know how that's going to translate out onto the real stage. |

Real stage? You mean PHISH, whatever. Don't worry, it was a one time thing.
I'm no guitar tech, but His aweful tone from post hiatus is gone, and I've heard that it's because he switched back to something from his past. Sounds like 01-02 Trey guitar.
Thanks for this recording! |

| People don't forget that one of Trey's biggest influences in Django Reinhardt. his music is like cartoon music, but is absolute genius. So for the disney comment, he is playing like one of his mentors. At least he is happy and if this is a sign of things to come, oh well. Bad Phish music is better than 99% of the rest of music. |

saw Page with PBS in NYC a few nights ago - it wasn't the most impressive thing I've ever seen, but Page has never been, imho, the strongest soloing voice of those currently being discussed here - and I say that in as verbose and gentle a way as I can manage - but seeing him with PBS I was psyched
feel like Page and Trey are doing public skill-check shows before they bring it back to where it needs to be, and Page was definitely there and gellin' with PBS, and even rocked a few solos. gets my stamp of approval.
also, super-psyched for this show, my comment and torrent come from the remastered post... |
