SHN transfer by Miner Gleason (starwolf@ipass.net). I don't know the

history of the original DAT-to-CDR transfer, but the discs I received

in trade sometime back were very clean. Audio extraction was via a

Plextor PX-32TS reader using EAC V0.85 beta. Cool Edit Pro was used

to normalize (the levels on the original CDRs were a bit low), and to

remove the 2 minor clicks that were on my original CDRs. The tracks

were then split out using CDRWav.

This was my introduction to the music of MMW, and their subversive

grooves just totally blew me away. Hope you enjoy the show!!!

Possible flaw (not confirmed on originals):

disk2 track1 (thelover) skips for like half a second at 4:47

My Hard Drive is full, and until my new external HD arrives I figured that I'll seed a few shows since I can't dl any right now.

This show is very, very awesome. One of the first, if not the only MMW show I had on tape back in 95. . .I didn't need any others.
newplanet7 2008-10-17 19:56:16
FWIW, there is a non eac'd version of this show straight from the dat without the cd generation in it.

Hey Newplanet, do you have that source and would you be willing to up it. Thanks, SF.
newplanet7 2008-10-18 15:35:21
I can put it up if people want it.
It looks like 80+ people already grabbed this though 8P
Mistercharlie 2008-10-18 18:46:05
I'd like to get ahold of that non-eac'd version. I've always loved this show and would love an upgrade.
Grateful_deadhead 2008-10-18 19:24:45
whats the difference between this and the non-eac'd version....sorry im kinda new and dont know all the abbreviations for sh*t
Mistercharlie 2008-10-18 23:23:45
EAC means that the digital fileset(Flac or Shn) was burned to audio cd's, then put through the Exact Audio Copy(EAC) program. It's always better to have a show in non-eac'd show, less degeneration.
Grateful_deadhead 2008-10-20 08:18:05
can someone put up the non eac version? that would be fantastic!....and about that i checked that link on db and said there was a bit missing from jelly belly....is that so with both sources?
