trailmix 2008-10-31 22:51:49
I didn't realize I was irritating you. It wasn't my intention so accept my apology.

I'll leave the commenting up to the experts from now on.
superfreakie 2008-11-01 00:29:34
How do you become an expert, can I join?
Is it based on how many shows you have seen?
How many shows you have archived?
What years you saw the band in?
How many "great" shows you were at?
If you can handle your Phish/acid trip?
Are you a taper or a fan?
Do you use language like "wook" or have employment?
That you have three eyeballs?
That you have one extra testicle?
That you walk on your hands?
or simply that you love tHe pHIsh fRom VErmoNT..........

Screw you guys I'm going home :^)

jlbrooks 2008-11-01 00:46:33

superfreakie 2008-11-01 02:19:47
Please help me, how does one get a life so they are not "retarded"? I have been looking for this for like.....ever. I think it is awesome that you have figured it out, but I have to say that I am a little pissed that you have decided not to impart some of your wisdom with us....or at least me.

"no ones a loser.dont pay no mind to that comment he wrote!"

That's good advice. It's not like he'd ever say it to his face, so why sweat it?
.People are much nicer in person than they are on the internet.
pflaumja 2008-11-02 16:34:46
Actually I'm not very nice in person either!
Lord of Grapes 2008-11-02 17:38:08
Trey's bladder is actually very much nicer in person than it was at the Thomas and Gack Center that night too - boy.

funkbeard 2008-11-03 12:46:04
My recollection was that the first set started strong, followed by a badly flubbed PYITE. The rest of the set was extraordinary, though. Weekapaug was unbelievable. The big flub in Weekapaug was actually a window for Karuda to throw in an explosion of light; hence, where the music drops for a second, you can imagine 5 giant lights behind the stage sending huge beams to the ceiling and the crowd going balistic, and the rage continued until they crought it around to the final verse.

Second set was confusing; seemed very unphishy. Mostly straight songs pplayed with energy. I haven't gotten the significance of it, since I haven't heard it since. Seemed to the the least ambitious of all Halloweens.

Third set was even more confusion... that dark muddy sludge sound that I don't really care for at all.

If the speakers stopped farting and Ghost had turned into a jam, it could have been one of the best. The band had worked through the darkness and come up with something finer than ever before; the song itself was really incredible. The jam didn't really exist. The p.a. was spent.

The p.a. was fixed for the encore. A great night, of sorts.
