Here is last night's Back Door Slam set from Minneapolis. They opened once again for the Mule. A solid small set as usual. This was by far the shortest set they have played in the 4 shows I have seen. They only played a 30 minute set consisting of 5 songs. The sound was perfect and I am so happy with the recording. Not sure why they did not play any longer.

My only regret was that they do not expand their repetoire. I understand they only get 5 - 7 songs in an alloted time and stick with a core set of tunes. But, for folks as lucky as I that get to see them a bunch, well, variety would be a nice thing. I still say they shine best on the slow blues.

Thank you!! You've been a busy one! Agree that the lads should mix it up a bit more, they've got other great material. Still, glad that they are getting the exposure, thanks to the legions of dedicated Mule tapers!
