I'd like to edit my statement.
The beginning of D2T1 sounds like a cover of a rag time fav.
The rest of the tune sounds OG |

| yeah, the beginning of d2t1 sounds like a cover, the rest sound original, and there is a Third Stone From The Sun tease near the end of it also.. |

Thanks for getting this up so quickly. Can't wait to check out the new tunes.
Side request:
Do any of you generous MMW fans out there have the capability of providing a seed for this particular show? (if so, it would be extremely appreciated)

Thank you for this. Also, can someone break down the three radiolarian periods for me? I know 3 began around Nov. 12 according to the MMW website. how bout the other two periods?
Thanks. |

I was thinking the 3 tours were something like this:
1st tour February 19-29
2nd tour July 11-18
3rd tour November 12-22

ok. cool. so where does that leave 9-28-08, which, by the way, is a wicked show?
just started listening to this show in headphones -- stoney. |

I've also been enjoying 9-28-08. It was a benefit concert for Black Mesa Trust and the trio's first show back in the states after a handful of shows in South America.
Here's a really great resource for finding info on shows which the Shack Project guys usually include in their posts.
http://twilightsw.com/mmw/
It's a work in progress. I'm sure the entries for all the Radiolarian shows will get updated with the correct song titles eventually. However, I must admit that Free Go Lilly will always be aka Piano #1 to me. |

Spot on, oneman -- Since stuff seems to disappear from the mmw.net site, the Radiolarian Series wikipedia page looks like the best place for info:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Radiolarian_Series
kayatosh, shows that occured outside the Radiolarians Tour segments are not part of the Series (in terms of the development of the material) -- but recent shows like the Black Mesa date have featured a lot of the "finalized" songs from completed tour segments...
Has anyone seen a release date for Radiolarians 2?
shack on!

Well said locus.
Been enjoying 11-15 this evening. Was out walking the dog under the stars to the second set and the beginning of D2 T1 sounds like Death Don't Have No Mercy to me. But there's probably a lot of tunes that fit that same meter. Really like how they break it down and build it back up. Cool stuff.
Just for fun I'll list some preliminary reference titles. Maybe one or two will make the cut... ? I think "Pop Rocks" nails D2 T4.
Set II/Disc II
t01. "Death Don't Breakdown" w/Third Stone from the Sun
t02. "Starlight Walk"
t03. "Xylo-Groove"
t04. "Pop Rocks"
t05. "Organ Vamp"

t06. Where's the Music?
I spaced on the first set. Gotta listen to that one again. |

Yep that 9/28/08 show isn't part of the series.
I taped that one and it's my favorite this year thus far. |

| The first few minutes of d2t01 could probably be interpreted as any number of songs... I was immediately reminded of "One Kind Favor" when I heard it. Anyhoo, thanks for sharing this, I'm enjoying it immensely. |
