Show Notes:
* On Sarvidaya, the band went out into the audience as they customarily do.
The mics were at stage lip, so all I could do was direct them towards the
middle of the room. I boosted the V2 to compensate for the distance as there
was no amplification.
I ended up working until 9:00, as We had a football game in Bowling Green.
When I found out they were going o play 3 sets, I hauled up to Detroit thinking
that I would be happy to see 2 sets, glad I did!

Here is last night's Nomo show from Detroit. I saw them in Dearborn Thursday, thinking I probably won't be able to leave work and make it to Detroit in time. I called the venue at about 9:00, just as I had left the Bowling Green vs. Buffalo game. It was rediculouly cold and windy at the game, and I was ready to hit the road. The guy on the phone said they will be going on at around 9:45, but they were playing 3 sets. Hmmmmm... I decided 2 sets of Nomo would entice me to go. I got there after the 1st set ended. The place was packed! I ended up going up front at stage lip.
This place is an actual jazz club, with some nice art deco, a bea=utiful stage made of a wooden floor. Elliot later told me it was the original stage floor from when they opened in 1935! Cory was set up as he ran from the start of the concert.
They came out and played 2, very solid sets! For Sarvidaya, they actually went out into the middle of the club as they usually do. I was packed in up front as there were cocktail tables and chairs crammed in everywhere. I hit the gain on the v2 and changed the mic direction and shazam, it sounds fine!
