are there any interesting jams in this worth hearing????

and don't tell me to listen to "glide", thank you!!
caravan2001 2008-11-25 20:25:19
I would say no, but somebody wanted it seeded so here it is.....
WALTMON 2008-11-25 20:33:57
Stash > Free was solid...I ran my rig right next to Matt Lazor and I can tell you this source sounds amazing.
Subtle Sounds 2008-11-25 20:51:12
It was me that requested it..... thanks so much..... any chance on 8/15 now please????
discocape 2008-11-25 20:55:01
relative to all other things phish....I'd look elsewhere for inspiring jams - $.02
caravan2001 2008-11-25 22:47:44
I only have the official release of 8/15, so I can't seed it...sorry....I think there is a source that is still active on etree somewhere though....

While this show gets universally panned, the Walls>Jim>Jibboo open is great and, alas set high expectations that we're never quite again met. The Fire is on fire, quite drawn out, aggressive , and complementing to the vibe. The Bag is lengthy, exploratory and a triumph (for the weekend). The Drowned is awesome then, Trey kills it with some sort of distance/connecting is a tough speech.

Funny, I've always wanted to make a highlight reel out of these shows and Vegas '04. Thanks for giving me some fodder.

Thanks clancy and caravan for getting these up..... Looking at the peers guess I was not the only one interested.
caravan2001 2008-11-26 22:29:09
sorry, looks like this stopped while I was at work.....be patient, it'll start back up in a second
okelnard 2008-11-26 23:23:07
I'm still interested... anyone else help this seed stay alive?

Much appreciated! thanks for the the 08-15-04 too.
I never heard either of these shows...

cheers and happy Thanksgiving!

I always thought that both this show and 8/15 weren't all that bad if you disregard Trey's f*** ups during the 'original' parts and just concentrate on the jamming. In other words, both nights he pretty much butchered all of the standard riffs and notes that are played without change each time the song is played, but once the song progressed into the jam, it was back to being pretty nice stuff.

That said, there's just no explaining the sadness I've felt the couple of times that I've listened to Curtain from the last show. Those last notes...which for over 4 years now seemed as if they'd be the last notes ever for Phish, are just too much sadness in one song.

In fact, the song really has become a sad one for me, simply for that reason and how whenever I hear it in another show, it reminds me of the sadness of the Coventry version. It's actually why I REALLY hope that Phish chooses Curtain to be their first song of the first night of the Hampton show.

Don't suppose anyone can jump on this?
