This has fixed levels on d3t02, d3t03 and d3t04.
All you will need to do is point you client to the previous seed and it will just replace disc 3 tracks 2, 3, 4, the checksums and the info file.
If you downloaded http://db.etree.org/shn/96082 from http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=520588 or any other tracker that source ID 96082 was seeded on, you should grab this fix.
There will be a fix for the 24 bit files as well. |

Just to be clear, the fixes that you did, were they because of a problem that occurred in the torrent or just something that always needed fixing from the original recording(i.e. a remaster of levels that were too low)??

From the info file there was a problem with the levels on those 3 tracks. |

Torrents don't have any effect on the files themselves. What you wrap up in a torrent file is what what arrives at the client side. That's the reason for the bittorrent system. Each piece of every file is hash checked against the original at the client side. If there were errors in the original, there will be errors after download.
In this case, the fix is to the original fileset where there were some files that had low levels. |

| hey, thanks a lot. my ex left her shoes at the hotel after the 04-09-89 louisville show. the hotel shipped the shoes to us with a little suprise in one of the shoes. 1st set cassette of this show. always loved that tape. it will be nice to hear the entire show, thanks. still have the tape if you lost it in louisville:) |

I have an old cassette of "Oakland 12-31-81" which now appears to be the first set of this show with the encores. The cassette I copied from had no info except the song names and dates. It wasn't the best fidelity either, so it didn't make the regular rotation. The one thing I vividly remember is the Baby Blue that was on it-- wondering who the female vocalist was. Even that had a harsh cut right at the end.
I recall speculating that it might be Etta James, but this was all in the days before Deadbase, the internet, etc.
I hope this is still being seeded-- my thing shows one seeder who is offline--hopefully temporarily, because this looks fantastic.
I have several shows where the source is walker.scotton.miller and I'm not sure I have ever heard any live recordings that were better -- anywhere. Thank you -- the quality of these gifts that you share is only surpassed by your generosity. |

Oops. I was getting this, albeit very slowly, until an hour or so ago when my seeder disappeared. I came to a grinding halt at 82%.
If someone would be so kind as to seed this one again, once I get it pulled I will keep it up for a good, long time.
