killer shows indeed. I consider it a blessing the fact that the first time i heard 3/8/80, my acid sources girlfriend was outa town, so he decided the small group we had 2gether that nite needed 2 finish off every hit he had in the house that night, which happened to be a more than healthy dose 4 every individual. needless to say it was one of those nights that changes your entire outlook on the future... thank you Jerry!

The fact that 3/8/80 is still circulating after like 9 years with the "sbd-aud" lineage is wild ... this is just a great aud.

thanks for this! I've been listening to them for hours now, and loving them! Of course, any show that gives me Mission in the Rain and They Love Each Other to start the show is going right to the top of my list, they are two of my favorite songs of Jerry's.

Highly recommended! I love all the shows at The Stone in 1980. The sound is in your face! I love it.

Someday someone is going to find the taper and master tape of 3/8/80 and do a new transfer. The taper of this show remains a great mystery ... it was none of the "usual suspects" who might have taped SF shows around this time and whose stuff circulates by name in the digital realm.
