These shows were a lot of fun. The venue played an April fools day prank on Leftover. They made masks of all the band member's faces, cut out the eyes & glued them to popsicle sticks. When the band came on stage everyone in the crowd was hiding their faces with the masks.

Thanks!!! Next time through town after this, Salmon returned the favor to Sugar Blue by playing with him at the Boulevard Cafe. I need a recording of that night, it was a blast.

Me too. Here is what was in the Grand Junction paper today:

William McKay
EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. — The Leftover Salmon keyboardist was arrested Tuesday for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman after a party, according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested William McKay, 39, at his home in Denver and charged him with alleged sexual assault.

Shannon Cordingly, spokeswoman for the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office, identified him as a member of the well-known Colorado jam band Leftover Salmon as well as the Bill McKay Band, which played at Rick and Kelly’s American Bistro at the Riverwalk in Edwards on New Year’s Eve.

McKay plays organ and piano and sings for both bands.

The sheriff’s office said a woman called the office on Jan. 9 claiming she was drugged and sexually assaulted by McKay after a New Year’s Eve party at an Edwards home.

McKay is being in the Eagle County Detention Facility on a no-hold bond.

Always enjoyed this acoustic set in particular.....not quite the "thrill" level of the 3.8.00 show in Durango though....but maybe my 2nd fav. acoustic set of their's that I've heard....FESTIVALLLLL
