This is the final night of the Hawaii 2009 tour.
The show was scheduled to
start at 9pm. By the time Vince Herman came on, it was after 10pm.
It took quite awhile for the sound to get adjusted in the venue and I found
myself wandering around trying to find a spot where the sound was OK.
The crew did a great job of fixing things so that by the time DNB came on
for their own set, the sound was good.
I mention the Vince Herman set here because throughout his performance,
various members of DNB kept joining in until it was Vince and the entire
DNB backing him up.
One note, there was a commotion around our area during the first song
of the second set. As a result, around 3 minutes into the "Fable Of
A Chosen One" both channels got knocked out of the recording.
The dropout was edited out as best as possible. The length of the
droput was between 6 and 7 seconds and the splice does not sound
obnoxious.

Actually, I was recording the entire time. I haven't heard what any of it sounds like yet because everyone seemed to want the DNB stes first.
But if you'd like, I can seed the Vince from both Stella's and Charley's.
This was the first time I've seen/heard Vince and I enjoyed him immensely.
I found myself really looking forward to his individual sets from the way he played at the pool party. |

Sounds good. I'll work on transferring those and tracking them out. I'll also try to figure out the song names as best I can. This'll take some time so the seed will most likely be tomorrow (Monday) or Tuesday.

| John Molo Broke his toe, the delay came from setting the drum kit up backwards so the show could roll. Best of luck to john for a speedy recovery, and a lower golf handicap in the oncoming year.Fabulous nelson tour once again, thanks to mark and the nelson/ herman entourage.particularily the sound crew...some interesting venues..If you've never caught the nelson band, you really need to get out more, or hit up the nrps. Sless is best in 2012. |
