I know it isn't supposed to be done here, but I've seen it done (and work) too many times: Can anybody seed 1994-04-18 (shn id 1060)?
I'm sure it would compliment this show well in any collection.
discocape 2009-02-02 23:21:29
if you know it isn't supposed to be done here why do it? A simple request or PM at the paug and I would have seeded this with no hesitation as it's on my HD. We've said it before it's too tough to keep track of ISO's here, please go to the paug next time you have a request.
Personally I don't seed requests here out of principle. But if you went to the paug I have a freebie seed request going right now...
discocape 2009-02-02 23:21:53
oh and thanks to chris for the freshie
moonmoog 2009-02-03 00:24:55
thats the rule around here..and you gots ta wear ya sunglasses...so you can feel cool
benslashjames 2009-02-03 07:04:28
nice to see that discocape's principles are protecting us all!

this seed sounds pretty great, and a great show taboot!
bvaz 2009-02-03 07:48:29
guess I need to chime in because that is what I do.
people typically get criticized for making their first post at the 'paug be an ISO.
so lately, I've been checking (and in some cases filling) etree.org ISO. I also have been hopping on a lot of stranded torretns.
sirfunkenstein 2009-02-03 12:21:57
"then why do it"-
"people typically get criticized for making their first post an ISO"
I have all of the shows I've been to, and most of the ones I haven't been to but are considered "must haves". Now I'm left to trying to accumulate lossless copies of those shows which I had random infinite-generation-ith tapes of back in the early-mid 90's. Back before Al Gore invented the internet, back before I'd been to many shows, crappy tapes of shows you hadn't been to were all there was to keep you going between tours. Ahhh, nostalgia.
Yes, I too, fill much bandwidth seeding for stranded torrents. After filling most of a 1TB HD off of etree what else is there to do? The computer is on and connected, why not share.
Thought it was worth a try...
I'd go join the 'paug, but I think I already spend way too much time sitting at the computer participating in online communities. I'm gonna get fat and go blind! I'll end up looking like Cartman did in the WOW episode of South Park. I gotta draw the line somewhere.
Now, especially after last weekend's multi-hours of hair-loss levels of frustration sitting at the computer trying to get tickets...It's out of the question untill after I can go out and make some money or accomplish something that isn't made out of filesets.
I'll live without 1994-04-18.1060.shn...for now...
bvaz 2009-02-03 14:18:32
I'll fill your request tonight.
if you don't want to join another online community, I really encourage you to check out the ISO forum for this page, forums.etree.org. you are already on here.
I check week4paug.net and fill in requests that others cannot fill (which may be once every 6 months, if that) and I check there.

my only additional comment is that requesting shows in comments can be troublesome for ME for this reason. I see this when i am at work. I go home and can't remember which torrent the comment was in that I agreed to fill a request. however, if it was in a forum, I would know where to look. that is just my personal dilemma with requesting them in here.

but like I said, I will fill the request tonight.

I just added this one to the etree database:

thanks Chris!

Thanks Jason!
sirfunkenstein 2009-02-03 20:38:24
Is the ISO forum on here different than the "stranded torrents" page? BTW, someone else is seeding the old, dead 1994-04-18.1060.shnf torrent, and bvaz's new up, too. I guess I'm down loading the same fileset twice at the same time for some reason! Decisions, decisions.

'94 was such a great year to be alive. and listening to phish of course! i just popped in cause i was reading the setlist on this one and trying to decide if i should use these last couple of discs tonight or wait and see if the dayton show from '94 appears anytime soon (i'm too poor for more dics right now) and anyway the posts got me thinking about how great it is that people take time to share the wealth over and over again here on etree and i wanted to say THANKS to each and every one of you guys who constantly open up your hardrives to leeches like me. THANKS!!

now who's going to Alpine??
sirfunkenstein 2009-02-04 00:03:54
Hell yeah! I personnaly believe that I belong in the pavillion, but lawn is better than nothin'.
lostboy01 2009-02-04 00:32:05
