| Here is the Galactic set from last night, We all thought Galactic was going to play a 2 set show so I was trying to get the opener and set 1 on one battery, since they decided to play one long set instead of two I got caught with a battery swapout during Lateef's guest appearance. This was a fun show and although I wasn't all that impressed with The Mighty Underdogs opener I feel they did well as guests when with Galactic, and I actually commented on how much better The Gift Of Gabs voice sounded when Galactics sound engineer was running the show instead of whoever ran the openers mix. Enjoy folks, balcony rail, dead center. |

Like the torrent file said..there is a cut at the end of the first Lateef song and fades back in on the second Lateef song.
For the life of me, I can't recall ever hearing track 12. I just have no idea what that song is. Anyone have any suggestions?
...oh yeah and for those that don't know, Sagg Shootin' His Arrow is a Jimmy Smith tune. It was on the album Root Down. I'm thrilled that their playing this tune now. Root Down is such a great album, and has some really good songs on it other than just Root Down itself.

...ahh and now I'm the one not listening to the recording haha. Yeah Ben Ellman says after track 12 is over that it was a brand new tune written by Mr. Jeffrey Raines, first time played. I guess it will be on the next album. They don't say a title though.
so track 12 can be adjusted to look like this:

| ok so it was track 12 that was the new song, for some reason track 12 sounded to me like a led zeppelin cover, had me searching all over my zep collection, maybe it was just a similar riff to something else. Thanks much for the setlist help guys. |

No problem on the setlist help John. Thanks a ton for taping this great show. I pull down just about every Galactic show that rolls through this website. I've heard alot of Galactic shows, seen them live a few times as well. Lately the boys seem to be hitting there stride. They just seem to keep getting better. All these shows lately, ie. fall 08 and winter 09, have been so on point. Not one show is bad, imho. Of course, none of these shows even hold a candle to the 6/10/2005 Bonnaroo show but hey, great Galactic shows nonetheless. The '05 Bonnaroo show still holds the number 1 spot on my favorite Galactic show list.

| Wow the new song does sound like something Zeppelin would write. Kinda sounds like some cross breed of Immigrant song and some other jam. Sounds like it will be a great song though. |
