Here is Thursday night's Wiyos set from The Ark in Ann Arbor. They were on the bill with Steppin' In It. They are doing 8 shows together in the next week or two. I saw the stage set up and said to myself, this looks like it might be interesting. Stand up bass, steel guitsr, washboard with bells, horns, horns, cymbals, and buttons attached. I had never heard of or seen these guys from Brooklyn. What a pleasant surprise! Very accomplished musicians with a great stage presence. Halfway through, I thought, these guys could be soulmates with Steppin' In It! All the toys and gadgets, it would be great to see the Wilson Bros up there with them. I did get my wish later during the Steppin' In It set!
Thanks to Chris for doing a very nice job on the sound. Nice to hang with Matt K, Fred, Jeff, and Kevin! Dinner was a couple of Spicy Tuna Rolls, Miso Soup, and a Tossed Salad with Ginger Dressing from Sushi Town.
