I don't think you can drinl inside the Warfield, only in the lobby/outer hallways, plus I remember the board being in the balcony @ the rail.

You can drink inside the Warfield if you are on the floor. They have waitresses that will get your drinks for you for that matter. You can not drink up on the balcony. That's lobby drinking only! Love me some Warfield!

The drink rail separated the low wooden floor section from the slightly elevated, carpeted bar area.
Thanks for this upload. |

I watched Jerry for much of the second set through the window behind the bar in the hall. The sound was actually killer there. Was this the show with the hour and a half setbreak or am I way off base??

I was at this show and the 90 min set break sounds about right. Big chunks of the 2nd set seemed to be a continuation of that set break. Someone told me they hear Kahn noodling/pleading a bit of Lively Up Yourself somewhere in there. Even so, the show has some great moments, and the Cats is superb!

Fun show indeed- though a bit subdued at times, especially 2nd set- as far as quality, it's an average sonics recording, not bad, not great. Unfortunately not much bass, otherwise pretty clean and nice. Might worth mixing it with other sources, if one was inclined to do so...

I used to usher at the Warfield and you used to get cut loose when the 2nd set started. Most of the time, it was a great deal, getting a couple drink tickets and a show for free. But with Jerry, the break started becoming longer than the show, making it not sorta worth your while. The mention of the 90 minute break reminded me of that...
