Wow! Thanks or sharing this. I downloaded the SBD of this last year and it quickly became one of my all time favorites.
The whole shows just flows and builds--it is a real solid performance--I really love the Second set--it ROCKS!!!
Thanks ! |

| Grant me my wish oh lord and return me to this night! My first show and one of my all time favs. A single purple spotlight on Jerry to open the show. A lesson on how to transform from a uptight teen to a Dancin fool in just a couple of hours. The Vibe from that night still rattles around in my head to this day. Jumped on the Bus with both feet. Dead shows are like love, your first will always be special! |

Wanted to get to this one rather quickly to check it out & I have to say, Hunter--
really nice work all around!! Everything is rich, deep & bright where it should be
& still retains the warmth. Don't know if you know what I mean by that, but obviously
I truly dig it--tasty artwork, too!
Cheers!!!! |

| Its grate to know a show is going to simply kickass both in sound quality and performance before you've even finished downloading it. Thanks Hunter for all the efforts, I enjoy the artwork provided as well! |

"flows and builds" really describes this show to a t.
Thanks to Steve Hopkins for all the great tapes he's recorded and so generously shared over the years.
Had the good fortune to catch a few shows in New England during the Spring of 1977 and this one has always been our favorite.
What with how wonderful Steve's aud has always sounded I've usually opted to listen to his aud than the superb soundboard and have always pined for a matrix.
Thanks Hunter. Perfect show to matrix imho.
Peace and best regards to all,
Eddie G. |

| Amazing stuff...this and the matrix version of Cornell...breathing new life (as if they needed it) into shows that we have been enjoying for years. Many, many thanks for all the effort and loving care that it took to put these together! |

Regarding the artwork:
Jeffrey Evans did the "blossoms" portion, and Rerti Alev did the blue "background" part. Hope they don't mind their very cool artwork being matrixed. Not sure about the back cover design.
Also, the painting artwork for my 08-06-71 matrix was generously provided by Benjamin Seamons - so there's a real Seamons Matrix for ya! |
