-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 4 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom & Todd....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

Hey all.
To say this show is great is an understatement.
Even though there were a few pa problems this one shines.
Love the 4011 detail.
This one is in my top 5 for the year...........
But aren't they all 8)
Enjoy.

huzzah, thanks for the continuing Shack Project chronicles!
This opening improv is sick, but seems cut at the beginning -- any idea by how much?
Logic here seems a little more ON than a lot of other nights, which elevates the show.
Real shame about those PA problems...
shack on!

-----------------------------------------------------
I'm afraid we've no idea how much, if any, is actually cut...this is the only source in circulation so there's nothing to compare it with. I will say it 'sounds' pretty early in the development of the Improv but that really means nothing -- they could have been making noise or grooving for 20min before what we are actually hearing...
In the comments on the source info page http://db.etree.org/shn/26807#comments , Terry Watts mentions having a DAT with this source:
B&K 4022>V2>AD1k>HHB
...and that he may share it soon...but that comment was from like 4 years ago, so....
Terry? You around at all? Feel like doing a transfer?
