| Description | This project is designed to go hand in hand with the Grateful Dead Listening Guide
(www.deadlistening.com).
The Grateful Dead Listening Guide is designed primarily to enrich the listening
experience of new and seasoned fans vis-a-vis the exploration of audience recordings.
Although soundboard sources are at times featured on the Grateful Dead Listening Guide,
this project's main goal will be to explore the audience sources suggested
in the guide. While different sources are appreciated by different people for
different reasons, this project will focus on the particular sources suggested in
the Grateful Dead Listening Guide along with a link to the guide's review of that
show/source. Most of the audience sources suggested in the guide are also available
at the Live Music Archive. This project's main aim will be to also spread these
sources via bittorrent to increase awareness to those who may be intimidated by
the amount of resources available at the Live Music Archive. This project is done
with thanks to the Grateful Dead Listening Guide and for your listening pleasure.

I just seeded the MOTB version of this show a couple of months ago. I tend to prefer the MOTB version, but keeping in the spirit of the project, I've decided to upload this source as well.

For those interested, the MOTB version can be found here:

| Additionally, please stay on once you complete. Since this is such a small fileset, I'm going to try and seed the next part of the project after a swarm develops on this one. |

^ You would be correct. Most of their past releases can be found here:

I usually throw up the new ones as they come along. |

| What Bonk said, even if you don't d/l this, head over take the archive link and beomce totally engulfed in the best Peggy-O ever played. This and the Sing Me Back Home from Venetta can make a grown man cry.... Enjoy |

| One more for this "Peggy-O." You read a lot of "Best Scarlet I've ever heard" ... "Hottest Shakedown of all time," etc. For me, it usually varies from listen to listen. Sometimes I'm carried away by a song, and the next half-dozen times I hear it, it's not the same. Not this time. Hands-down, no doubt, best Peggy-O ever, every time. And while I like the MOTB, the "in Winterland" echo of this aud accentuates the haunting quality of the song that can, indeed, bring a tear in the right mood. |
