notes:
PYITE has some level adjustments near the beginning, otherwise the rig ran untouched.
In my opinion, this has one of the best Gumbos EVER. Ghost is pretty slick too.
Don't let the lack of an external AD conv. fool you...this one turned out amazing.
If only all OTSs had the sound of Van Andel on this night.

This is a personal favorite of mine, the Ghost and Gumbo were mentioned in the notes, both outstanding.....Do not overlook this Halley's though, I'll put it up with 11/22/97 and 12/7/99 easily. I think I like it better.

This is one of the best of the entire year. The Halley's/Ghost/Gumbo are great, but what gets overlooked are the other songs. A Tela, Walk Away, three song encore. Above average versions of Birds, Theme, Hulius, Simple, & a great LxL. PYITE opener (probably my favorite standard opener). Even though this is when the white started really becoming a factor and when Trey really started to wear down/lose interest, this tour is MONNAYYYE.

just listened to this show/source yesterday. Fantastic, if you are selectively grabbing 98's get this one...but you should ask yourself why you're not grabbing them all : p

My first show. I had to leave after haleys and circus as the fungus was amongus.

Always wondered why I loved Gumbo so much. This is why.

Thank you for the great quality.

Glad you're all liking this recording. I loved this sleeper of a show. We all (everyone from the traders@umich.edu group that were in attendance and assisting me with my gear) had a blast at this.

Interesting note....the composite flooring they put down to cover the ice in the rink started to dust up and dissolve as people danced through the show. this happened to the point that my mixer and DAT were covered in it by mid-set 2. Enjoy this one! - Dave Schall
