| Description | Widespread Panic has now played over 30 sold out shows at Red Rocks. Many of those shows have had their great moments, however I think this night (6/25/99) was the greatest show WSP ever played at this venue (arguable with 6/27/97 and 6/13/98). On this night, typically short songs like ALG and Love Tractor were stretched out for more than 15 minutes each. Pigeons and Rebirtha got waaaaay out there. Then Dirty Dozen came in to close it out in style with some rarities (at that time). Coconut was rarely played in concert aside from Halloween, and She Caught the Katy hadn't often been played with a horn section. This SBD / FM source needs to be heard. The radio broadcast was incomplete, as some songs are cut in Set 2, and don't contain the entire jam. However, this show hasn't been heard as a SBD before, and it truly shines. A bold statement, I know, but this is WSP at the top of their game. This is one of the most psychedelic shows you'll ever hear WSP play. Enjoy the show!! (Someone should patch a good audience source to this to fill in the gaps that exist, then circulate this in its entirety.)

| Thanks much :) I was at the year before, does anyone have the Red Rocks 1998(6/12&6/13) they could seed? I'd also be interested in ANY of the "Telluride on the rocks" sets that happened 3 days after and then any of the 25th annual Telluride BGF, this was the beginnings of one of the funnest summers of my life. Wow, this is really something. The cut after ALG is pretty heartbreaking cause the ten minute jam that actually happened there is next level, but at least the Tractor is here, pretty much in its entirety, and gosh, listening to it in this sort of quality makes my eyes water. Thanks for posting.
