thanks for the steady stream of acoustic music.
don't suppose you have a show with Fleck, Rice, Bush, Schatz, Douglas, (fiddle? Simpkins?) from the Birchmere? They do a cover of Dylan's "Fare the well", along with a host of other great stuff. I got it from BluegrassBox years ago, burned to disc and promptly lost those.
I think the show was in 1988?

| I believe this was a show that I was at the Quintet played the early show followed by Col. Bruce Hampton and the Fiji Mariners. After show I could not find the girl I brought to the show that night, after waiting at my car until the parking lot was about empty I went searching for her and found her & Grisman tounge wrestling behind Grisman's bus. It was a disapointing ending to my evening but the show was outstanding. thanks for the memories. |

| jesus what a story radical...sorry about that. i was thinking this was the quintet show i saw at ziggy's (i guess the one i was thinking this one was was 1996 or 97?) on a night when only about 20 people bothered showing up. there definitely was no Col Bruce there that night...just Dave + 4 and a few of us. stoked to hear this, thanks bill. i'm not sure how much acoustic goodness etree would have if not for you. |
