Here is last night's Chris Dorman show from Ann Arbor. He is a singer/songwriter from the Lansing area. It was Take A Chance Tuesday and I met Jeff there in line. I was actually 2nd in line behind a new friend, Pat. She was from Lansing and was friends with Chris Hamilton, tonight's bass player. The doors opened and I had no problem settling into "my" spot in the 3rd row.

When Suzie introduced Chris and the band, I would say that the Ark was about 1/2 full. But, the crowd was very enthusiastic. Many had come in from Lansing on a bus. They played one set of about 95 minutes. Fred was also there recording. Chris also had a friend from Ann Arbor, Lauren, that played fiddle and added back-up vocals on a few songs. The last song of the set and the encore featured some vocalists from a couple of other Michigan based bands. A nice evening of music, and the price was right, free. All's the Ark asks is that you bring a couple of canned items for the Food Gatherers. They collected 11 boxes of food at the show!

Dinner consisted of Stir-Fry from BD's Mongolian BBQ! I used an internet birthday coupon from earlier in the month.
