| I'll post the 24bit when this is done. Worth waiting for or getting both as this recording really highlights the 24bit dynamic range and "air" on the high end" The DVD-A is wonderfully open sounding and really captures the *excellent* job Mike did at mixing what can otherwise be a fairly lack-luster room. |

So do you think the c34 16-bit outshines Jeff's 481s or the 184s??
Opinion only, brother......DWYL ;-)))

So far, yes but I am just finishing tracking out Jeff's 481's so I have to do a real comp on my stereo instead of my headphones which is UA-30 out > P. Millett prototype hybrid tube headphone amp >Clou Red cable > Sennheiser HD600. A decent system for sure but doesn't give as good a snapshot of the bass.
Jeff's recordings are very good to be sure. I just have to see if they beat out the c34. It is going to be very close. I don't have access to just the 184s, only the 6ch which is also good but the stereo pairs seem to have a clearer top end and better imaging. |

Thanks Josh, with all these uploads I haven't even bothered listening to my own recording yet. Was nice meeting you, I had a blast.
BTW, couldn't help noticing the .torrent file itself has the wrong date. Confused me for a second there ;)
Cheers |
