-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 4 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom & Todd....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

Evening y'all.
I have another source for this which is a soundfield st-250.
However this one sounds a lot clearer with more definition and l to r channel balance.
This is my favorite of the five day run because of the Steve Cannon spoken word GUS.
Enjoy.

Got this one many years ago in a trade and I agree! (newplanet7) this show is one of my all time "fav's" with Steve Cannon himself narrating on "what ever happened to gus?"...not to mention the rare time the band has a bass clarinetist (Doug Yates) -"lower vibrations" as illy B puts it ...oh yeah and Ribot and Bloedel on guitars/vocals...a great sounding show too, I always turn this one UP!

The whole Bowery Series at last! You guys are gonna crush my harddrive yet...
I'm curious about where the "bowery reserve" titles orgininated (we're basically talking improv right?) -- were they introduced that way at some point (haven't heard all these yet) or was that a Taper/Archiver decision??
Thanks to duggy for all the setlist tweaks -- always appreciated!!
love you folks, really. shack on!
