Thanks D_5,
I had to miss this show, so its great to see it posted here.
stephenr 2009-04-05 17:07:07
frackkin' get this show. great place, meyers speakers for the PA, 2 master guitarists and solid jazzy rhythm section. probably the best one we've ever seen. smiles says this show is amazing. many sick jams...if i have to pick 1 murawski solo, it would be the ripper he pulled in little wing. every song was it's own. enjoy.
d5_ 2009-04-05 17:42:15
i have to agree with you Stephen, that solo that Scott did in little wing was unbelievable.

d2t03 is 'Hot 'Lanta' by the Allman Brothers.

GREAT show... but is it possible to get anything BUT the best from these guys? highly unlikely. thanks for another solid post!

Thanks John for all your hard work in taping and sharing this FABULOUS show.
Again it was great to finally meet you. Hope our paths cross again sooner than later.
Take Care.

oh, and d1t04 is 'I Just Want to Make Love to You', written by Willie Dixon and first recorded by Muddy Waters.
jimakin 2009-04-06 20:03:09
Can anyone confirm whether or not the d1t1 "Jam" is a rave on Pete Townshend's "Eminence Front"?
stephenr 2009-04-06 20:15:54
hmmm...never heard anything in the entire show that alluded to that song...
jimakin 2009-04-06 20:27:42
Scott has been known to do Eminence Front, but I didn't know that when I thought I heard traces of the tune in the opening jam. It could just be coincidence, but I haven't heard the Who version (or any other) of the song in many, many years, and I have no idea why I'd have thought of it otherwise.
oldmule 2009-04-08 11:51:36
Hey Now......
jimakin, I agree......the opening jam, to me, sounded very much like Eminence Front.
GREAT SHOW BOYZ
