Here is last night's Zach Deputy set from Ann Arbor. When I arrived and was let in during soundcheck, I looked up on stage and saw a pleasant surprise, Zach Deputy! I first saw and met Zach at the Rhythm and Blues in Chattanooga back in January when he opened up for Outformation. I said, that's the guitar dude that improvises and does the loops during his performances. I said hello as he was done with soundcheck. He recognized me but forgot my name. I told him I was recording and he was thrilled.
I do remember his creativity and varied styles. As usual, his first tune was totally improvised. I named it and he told me after the show as I asked him the titles, "that sounds good"! I enjoyed the Calypso Wash It In the Water. I was glad to see him invite the trio from Ryan's band to add some very nice texture for the last 2 songs of his brief set.

| Thank you for taping & seeding some Zach. I highly recommend his Set on LMA from Bear Creek Festival. Check out 'Play Those Games.' It's nice to see someone put their heart into their music and not hide behind a comfort blanket. |

| i must concur with the5guy's comments...the lack of "comfort blanket" attitude in their performance really showcases a varied and eclectic style of music that Zak Deputy draws from while uniquely present in his distinct style. The dabble in Spanish Guitar was a hi-lite for me! |
