Thanks Thanks Thanks! Can you recall though Tipper in the 90's with her music censorship bandwagon.

| Sure can! I thought it was in the '80's though. Raking Frank Zappa over the coals. Or trying to in any event. Parents were freaking out over the blood code in "Mortal Combat" and now we've got "Grand Theft Auto". Disgraceful. |

Actually if you recall correctly, it was Frank Zappas testimony before the congressional censorship committee
that completely stopped the censorship movemnt in its tracks. His testimony was purely brilliant, as was Zappa. Now I've got to go download this show and hope last nights Albany show appears soon. |

Albany will appear as soon as my encore patch arrives via u-send it!I ran out of power as soon as I decided to save the file of the second set at the end of the donar rap.Unfortunatly it didnt record the encore in a new file, the batteries died.I know people are patiently waiting for shows and sources to appear.
There were 15-18 taper tix sold for each night,(confirmed)so many sources from the OTS might be slim,Hoping the FOB team fares well! there wer 14 mic stands in the section in albany with a total if 18 rigs on them. 4-5 went FOB.I will posy Albany ASAP.I dont want to do it minus the encore.
all in good time my friends..
see you on the road~ |

| It's not a "Pre-recorded Jam". It's a Mickey Space with processed samples like we all know and love from Drumz. |

You're sorta right. Actually it was Dee Snider who made the better testimony which did the stopping of the movement.
John Denver and Frank Zappa were the other two testifying but Dee Snider made the best arguement which helped the most.....not that Zappa or Denver didn't make their point but Snider was the one who shone brighter at that meeting.
They actually made a movie about it. I think it was called 'Parental Advisory'.

| GuinnessGoon is correct. Dee Snider of all people was the hero of the hearings. Like GuinnessGoon wrote, Zappa was a huge part but John Denver was ripped pretty good in the press for testifying. God Bless John and Frank. |

Thanks for sharing this. I can't wait 'til Tuesday in Buffalo.
Also the movie I was trying to think of is called 'Warning: Parental Advisory' its actually pretty good. Dee Snider plays himself in the movie and does great. |
