Notes/Flaws: A great recording of a great show! A brief dropout at the very beginning of Favela, minor mix/level issues here and there, minor tape degradation here and there, but none of it detracts from the listening experience (imho).
Notes from the anonymous seed provider: The 8/30/74 is slightly out of order when compared to Deadbase & my old analog copy. However, this came from Dick->my source->me, so I left it as-is. I have always really enjoyed this one & the upgrade took me 5 years to track down.

|Duuuuude, I'm fooking BAKED on this STUFF!!! The kier connection! Primo quality!l Even Garcia would have been knocked out by this!
OK, OK, having just gotten (a used copy for about $18 IN Berkeley...) of JG + MS at Keystone Berkeley, I LUV (how 'bout 'wuv"? HAIL, NO! Waaaaay too damn cute for its own good...) these shows and this band.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! MORE GARCIA/SAUNDERS from '73/'74 PLEASE! Seems I'm a little light (just a little light...) on those two years for Garcia...
Thank you again, and all others responsible for this awesome SHTOUGH! Can't get enough of the SHTOUGH! I'm a pig in the TROUGH! I get a little COUGH when I ain't had ENOUGH! GO ahead and call my BLUFF, life's ROUGH, that's enough... settle back, easy Slim...
OUGH!!! ? (You get no discount for agreeing with me, and why did they find the male Anne Heche for that Progressive Insurance tv commercial? Oh, yes, he *is* the male Anne Heche... except, NO MUFF! ...and no, pray there is no concept of "male muff". NO, NO, NO! Don't wanna hear it! DON'T GO THERE!
Sorry for that last bit of FLUFF!!! Least I never leave you with DUFF... I do THE ROCK. No, I don't, but I used to... I'm getting all misty at the memory of me and my lovely senorita from Boca who laid on me the coca... cola! Hola! Oh, jes, me speaka da Ingrish!
...and thanks for the Garcia spanks, paying the superior planks, as in Fender Strat and then the Wolf and then the... what was that aluminum neck called? That one... 'Course none of 'em can compete with Tiger.... not even Rosebud. Can't be done...
Garcia freaks! We are one! Under the sun! Havin' some fun! Had me a nun! Well, no, but I have been smitten by the Legion of Mary...
|uh, wot Eric sed. indeed. We are Legion. Thanks.
|Thanks for a bunch of LOM!
|Legion of Mary = the best solo jerry stuff to me. I just love this stuff, cant get enough...Thank you so much for the music.
|I still remember when Jim Wise sent me the upgrade to 8/30/74 that is listed above. I had been searching to upgrade my cassettes for five years, if only to hear the best version of La-La is pristine quality.
IT still holds up today and goes way out there.
