Notes
Incomplete-
But don't let that stop you!
This piece of music, In my opinion , is the all time greatest solo Garcia
work I have heard- in particular, track 4, beyond that, I have never seen it in circulation
If you think I'm wrong, if you have something better, I'd love to hear it!
Sterchelle@aol.com (or if you have the missing pieces)
Also, this disc was purchased in Japan days before the start of the Gulf war
The title on the disc is Legend of Mary , which I assume to be Legion of Mary, but DeadBase
lists this as Garcia and Saunders , but the additional players suggests this was a LoM show
A Free show in the Park
PLAYERS:
Jerry Garcia - guitar and vocals
Merle Saunders - keyboard and vocals
John Kahn - Bass
Paul Humphreys - Drums
Martin Fiero - Sax
MISSING
Second That Emotion
Sitting In Limbo
La-La

less complete -- better sound?
9/1/74 is a (quite good) Pure Jerry release. |

its true, badbob menke cleared up how they billed LOM...
Tutt had to be on drums for the Legion of Mary Billing, or it was billed Garcia Saunders...
The band wasnt around long enuf for most to note or remember that...andthing from 74 and 75 Jerry is amazing, no matter what ya caLL it |

| I remember hearing about this on KSAN and they just said Garcia-Saunders. It was a really good show and I'm looking forward to hear it after so many years. |

I just got the Pure Jer 740901 Keystone Berkeley (used $18 AMoeba, Berkeley), and it is amazing, I LOVE IT! The "La La" has some BEAUTIFUL Garcia playing on it (and I didn't really know that song before). I'm into L.O.M. BIG TIME right now, and YES, anything '74-'7 Garcia is GREAT!
Thank you! |

Stunning recording , i just listened to it thanks.
Grab both sources for a closer to complete show , this source sounds slightly better to me.
Can someone seed the LOM show that was sourced for DICK"S GIFT ?
If Eric wants to hear a smoking La La that is THE one.
Thanks guys. |
