You bet! Between you and Hansokolow (sp?) I have become a BIG fan of the GD shows in the form. I'll always DL them!
Makes me realize once again why there would be "strangers stopping strangers, just to shake their hand." If I was at a show and someone pointed you out to me, I would do that very thing!

Hunter--thanks for doing this matrix. And for the great art work and for keeping track of the lineage. It was the last time I hand held mics at a GD show !!!!!
A funny story--it was my friend Tom Moran's first and only Gd show. Tom is a fabulous mandolin player up here in the NW ( Down Town Mountain Boys) and also the guy who recorded the Fiddle workshop w/ Jerry in San Rafael on 4/27/74. Anyway, at the end of the Paramount Show, Tom only recognized 1 song, Sampson & Delilah, which was the only one I didn't know. |

Hello again, Pat!
The taper/audience commentary during this show is my personal FAVORITE, as far as taper/audience commentary goes. Here's just one example (I won't quote the "You won't like Keith, do you......." part from earlier on ;) ):
[After Franklin's]
"Where are we time-wise?"
"20 minutes"
"Captain Trips!!!!!!!"
"You think one more song?...Think they're gonna keep goin', or are they about done?"
"No, I'm tired"
"Huh?"
"I'm tired."
"Pride of Cucamonga!!!!"
"Let's do this tavern thing quickly."
"Captain Trips, alright!"
"What time are...what time's the race?"
"Truckin!!!!!!"
"Ten"
"What time are you gonna leave Olympia?"
"......Eight."
"Truckiiiiin'!"
"Roollling Stones!"
"Not Fade Away!"
"Truckin!"
"Anything!"
"Uh, my stomach..."
"Sugar Magnolia!!!"
"Sugaaaaar!"
"Think you're going to be able to move your arms again?...You're runnin' the marathon with your arms like that."
"Not Fade Away!"

| Thanks for this and 6/17. Both great shows. I never used to be that into matrixes, but i have come to like them alot. Sometimes they really balance out the sound and add alot to the vibe. Thanks again. |
