" Another Taper Named Gerry Project"
Notes:
* * Special Thanks to Gerry for Taping this and sharing his masters with me, these were transferd from Gerry's Reel's in the Mid 1980's when tape trading & collecting had a social aspect to it. If you are familiar with Hot Tuna 5-8-74 Gym S.U.N.Y. Stonybrook, NY , Gerry Taped it as well as many other great shows ..enjoy..

The song list below is taken from a gen 1 audience tape I have, I KNOW this song order to be correct, it's possible the show times are reversed but I don't think so. I am 99.9% sure this is right, both show times & the song order:
7:30 show:
Poison Ivy, All Over Now, Easy To Slip, Salt Lake City, Bombs Away, I Found Love, This Time Forever, Shade Of Grey, Heaven Help The Fool, Around & Around (encore:) I'll Be Doggone > Wrong Way Feel'in
10:30 show:
CC Rider, Easy To Slip, Salt Lake City, New Minglewood, Bombs Away, I Found Love, All Over Now, This Time Forever > Shade Of Grey, Heaven Help The Fool, Around & Around (encore:) I'll Be Doggone > Wrong Way Feel'in.
The sets were almost identical except for the openers & the addition of Minglewood in the late show. ONE of these Salt Lake Cities is INSANE with energy, really on fire. I was there & seem to recall the Poison Ivy to open the early show which matches the tapes I have. I hope this is better than what I have, these were fun shows packed with energy. Thanks for sharing these, cannot wait to hear it as this is a long time personal favorite. I have one photograph from inside, a stage shot of Bob but it's not crisp. Thanks again. : ) |
