Here is last night's moe. performance from Summer Camp. Sorry for the delay, but I basically recorded from noon until the final notes of Greensky Bluegrass at 2:13 a.m. A bit of sleep, and then in the car for 8 hours! I figured someone else would have uploaded a source by now. Night III of moe, always brings anxious expectations. What we got was another fun set with a couple of surprises. The first set started withg a couple of short tunes. Down Boy segued into Hector's Pillow, a relatively new one. The Bullet>32 Things rocked! A nice finish to a somewhat shorter set. The reason for that, Willie Nelson started at 8:00! Everyone and their brother was going to go to that, including the band!
After Willie ended and we raced back to the main stage, I barely got my mics up as the boys took the stage. Whew, all that sweat made the dust stick to our bodies. This was the dustiest weekend I have encountered at Summer Camp! My gear is a mess! This may have been the longest setbreak I have ever witnessed at a moe show, 1 hour and 49 minutes! it wasn't like we weren't entertained though!
Plane Crash got things underway in the second set, and led into Buster. a smooth transition, as they were all weekend. I witnessed my first Runaway Overlude. An interesting mellow jam started at the end of this. Kahlil turned to me and gave me the "Mexico" nod. Boy was I stoked! that is still my all time favorite moe song, and they shredded it!Another new one for me, Tubing the River Styx. This led into an Awesome Gary, first one in over 10 years! After Bear Song, we were left with our last dose of moe. They treated us right with a Spine>5 Guys Named Moe (A first for Me)>Spine>Plane Crash. It was tough tracking some of the new stuff, thanks Kahlil! Now I am exhausted and ready for some sleep.
Great hangin' with Jesse and Jenn, Christina, Steve, Angelo and Jenn, Allie, Paul, Mindy Lu, Julie and her Mom, Kahlil, John, and everyone else! Steve did a fabulous job on the sound all weekend! Thanks to Regan and his lighting job, welcome back my friend! Lots of great memories, music, comroderie, eats, pictures by Steve, etc. Yoo much dust and too many frickin' beach balls!

| Z-man..... Thanks for all you do. Grabbed all of your moe. summercamp and have enjoyed! I was there last year but Phish reunion kept me home this year as I live on the west coast. By chance, are you going to seed the Greensky show from SC? I would love to hear that as well! |

| Definitely! I just do not have time for all the music. Give me a day or so. I got the 3 moe shows up, as well as Cornmeal. I will try and get both GSBG, Backyard Tire Fire, Claypool, Umphreys, Gomez, Moon Alice, Buckethead, Dark Star, and Great American Taxi. I need an assistant. Until then, be patient my friend! |

I also live on the West Coast, and I also could not make it to Summer Camp this year. Thank you SO MUCH for all your effort and craft in providing these wonderful recordings for those of us who could not be there for one reason or another.
Word on the street is that Umphrey's McGee "stole the festival" from moe. this year, but you wouldn't guess it from these recordings. I like Friday the best, but all 5 sets sound like top shelf moe. to me.
