Effin' GREAT!! Always hoped there was another source to choose from for this show, thanks to Jason and the unknown taper. One of my favorite shows attended. I have to believe that they must have watched "Dog Day Afternoon" the night before on the tour bus, practiced the title track from the movie for like 17 seconds the next afternoon, and served up a great opener to a killer show.
I like how they chose Star Lake to play seemingly lots of one-off or rare songs since it was my home turf at the time - 8-11-98 Trenchtown Rock opener, Time Loves A Hero from the same show, Gold Soundz from 7-21-99 that also includes a predictable Bittersweet Motel, the '03 Harpua with I Fooled Around And Fell In Love...that's just off the top of my head. 7-7-2000 doesn't have anything that falls into this category, but the Maze>Shafty>Maze is a one-time pairing, I'm pretty sure, and the first set in general seemed to include an extra helping of infrequent songs which was definitely very cool at the time.
