thank you z!! deff. the best summercanp ever. thank you for all the work you have done. and if im thinkin rite HA ha. you prob got the kdub set aswell. trhe moe recordings sound great and i havent got to the rest yet but im sure it sounds great to well thank ya again love and respect

Here is the Friday afternoon Dark Star Orchestra show from the first afternoon of summercamp. When they came out on stage, it was apparent that we were getting an acoustic set from the get go. The crowd began filling in pretty well by the end of Aiko. Somehow, I think they do better when they just throw together a set of tunes, rather than recreate a show. They picked some nice songs for this acoustic set. I would have rather they did the Weather Report Suite in it's entirety. My only complaint, why emulate what the Dead did by tuning and taking up time between songs, when you are putting together a set that is not a representation of a Dead show?
My favorite tunes of the set were the So Many Roads, Bird Song, and Let it Grow>Ripple.

Many thanx for upping what looks to be a great set! It'll be a 1st for me to check out DSO in the acoustic realm, I'm quite looking forward to it...
Beyond all that, I just gotta drop MAD freakin props on ya for being the taping/torrenting GOD that you are!!! You're fast approaching legendary status - WHEN do you sleep??? Or do ya just not bother cuz it gets in the way of doin whatcha do & do so well???? LOL...
On an off topic note - being a taper myself, I've always wanted to try the KFC mic configuration. My question is - do you prefer Original, Extra Crispy or are ya more new skool Grilled kinda guy??? ;-)
So to sum up - THANX You Madman!!!

| Being a summercamp employee I have to say I wish I was there. Sago is the head of security he will rob you if you are a hippy and will not pay you if you work for him. Keep your eyes open for a huge bald black guy. |
