This was the best source(AKG c460b/ck3(DINa,OTS)) until this one. Both quality, thanks to both tapers. These Vintage Tubes have just a bit more bass. Little louder, a smidge. Thoughts? Must be the row 16. What row is OTS usually at?

Tapers Section was in Section B5. TS is usually behind or beside the soundboard - at Fenway it was on the left side of the sound board when facing the stage.

The sonic difference in bass is probably due to the fact that the m221b source was using OMNI capsules (no bass roll off) and the AKG ck3 source was using Hypercards (have a slight bass roll off)

The m221b's sound great!

They are way brighter than the m222's. Must be a result of using nickel diaphragms in the caps.

Good job. I think I am going to matrix our two sources. Since we were on the same stand and in very close proximity, phase issues can be kept to a minimum.

Another differnce between the m221 and m222 is that the m221 has an output transformer whereas the m222 does not

good job elder campbell. seems like everyone thinks you made the best ts pull. ill bet that makes you feel good. i do agree your recording is pretty sweet. you gonna tape them in hartford with the same mics fob? would love to hear those in the sweet spot blowing my speakers. war eagle your buddy andy. ever get those coventry pics from alistar.
