|cool thanks!! Still shaking from last night @ Camden!!!
|Any chance of upping the 24 bit files?
|I gotta go with this one over the other source. They are really very similar sounding but the bass presence is more defined here. On a lot of these Phish sources, Fishman's symbols sound really 'phased' to me. Is this just a result of being outside, wind, sound traveling in open space, etc.? Much love and appreciation to all the tapers!
|thanks for the neumanns!!
is this everyone's favorite show of the JB run?
|toddamo, wind will cause the phasing in the high end, giving it a sound not unsimilar to improper dolby decoding.
|Yeah, VERY VERY windy at these shows, especially Friday. Hard to keep the mics from blowing around a bit....that would definitely cause what you're describing.
Neumanns are famous for the punchiness of the bass. Enjoy....that's one of the many reasons that I love them.
|24 bit files are tough for me to torrent. I've got 'em cut up, but my upload speed is only 60k/sec from Time Warner Cable and that would take ages for me.
|gotta always grab the 170's! thanks for the pull!
|I just added this one to the etree database:
|Oy Coma Va is Tito Puente not Santana
Any chance of a B&P of the 24bit files? I'll seed here for as long as it takes. I'm also in NYC, if that makes a difference. email@example.com
|and "oy" is a yiddish word...which tito didn't speak...i think you meant to correct with "OyE ComO Va"...not to nitpick anyone...that would be small of me. with that said, really lookin forward to the neumanns!
|Thanks Scott. Love the bass response with your Neumanns as well. Would also love the 24 bit if someone can up.
|OK I might try to up the 24 bit version tonight if I have a chance. I'll keep you up-to-date
|Thanks so much! Wish I could have gone to these shows. At least I can listen now. http://darkstarjamblog.blogspot.com
|Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!
|I've been comparing different sources for the June shows, and I have to say I also prefer this one to the Telefunken. The fuller bass really makes a difference.
