| kooterb I have had the same thing happen at casino shows before. You have to stand there and tell them to contact someone from the band or management. I missed half the opener for a Crowes show in Louisiana once at a casino because they treated me like a criminal at the door. I stood my ground and once they got with someone from the band I was escorted in with apologizes from the security. Now the other night at the Beau I just walked in and no one even asked what was in the bag or why I had a mic stand. I guess we passed different security points. |

Yea, imazephed,
sounds like you got it done.
I was stopped in before I even got
near the box office, near the food
court. I was told to check my gear at the
desk and to talk to somebody inside.
Well I went in and ask every security
guy I could find and kept telling them
to check with the band, but they weren't
listening, so I finally gave it up.
