When I arrived, it was very windy, so I grabbed the soundboard for the opener. I decided to stay put for the Hookah sets. Actually the wind died down after Hookah started.

Here is last night's Ekoostik Hookah show from Ohio Bike week in Sandusky, Ohio. this is the 2nd year in a row for this Monday night show. Last year we got missed by a tornado, but we had thunder showers and high winds. This year it looked like much the same. The front darted around us and we stayed dry, thanks to the weather Gods! I was plugged into the soundboard for the opener as it was super windy. I was skeptical and decided to stay plugged in. As it turned out, the winds died down. Oh well.I appreciate the job Dan did and it came out very good. Thanks to mike for getting me patched in to begin with. Another solid job by Buddy on lights. I thought his helper, Nice Nate did a fine job helping get the rig set up!
The first set kicked off with Dave on acoustic the 1st 2 songs. My first time hearing the Blue-eyed Girl. I definitely like that one. Then it was John at bat for 2 in a row. My first All Fall In Dreams. Glad to see these guys getting the writing itch! My first time seeing Cliff cover Tom Waits with Hoist That Rag. Dave strapped on the acoustic as they closed with a rousing Ecstasy! Washboard Annie got set II rolling. Another new Dave song for me, D'Artanain. I really dug the new Eric tune, Ann Marie. The trifecta closer of Train>Athens County>Hush was a solid way to close out the set. Rocky Mountain Way was a great closer to the entire show! A different type of setlist this show, but very enjoyable. Dave played lots of acoustic as well tonight.
Nice hangin' with Sam, Sean, Nem and Jess, Pinky, Wild Bill, Matt and Jeff P., Amy, Sehadi, and the rest!
