Currently, there are a few versions of this show torrenting through etree. If you are the way I was, you didn't know which to torrent and you wanted somebody to post a comparison. I've downloaded three torrents and here's what I found:
mst934's Audix m1280/HC is the best. It is the cleanest. It almost sounds like the levels have been adjusted to make it sound like a professional release. In any case, it's my hands down favorite.
pricebri's MBHO KA200N is very good. It's a close second.
soling's Matrix is a distant third. Aside from the false advertising of calling a 4 mic mix a matrix, the end product sounds a bit muddy.
I want to thank everybody who recorded this wonderful show and shared their audio postcard. Your labor and expertise is much appreciated! |
