Dr. Rob Bertrando informed me that I should pitch this thing to the Oade speed, not the Miller speed. I guess I had not fully grasped at this point that a digital source is usually true speed. ;) Or I just thought that Miller sources were basically flawless and the best, or something.
Yep, it's an upgrade. And some folk will be especially happy to know that this is the last - previously seeded - upgrade of the series (Hunter's Trix only contains the most recent upgrades...and they sometimes sound better than a Miller source by itself, believe it or not), especially in light of certain events that transpired on another amazing website...

That kid hanging off the balcony landed right in the middle of our group of friends (we all went to the University of Maine @ Orono).
And to top it all off as that guy stumble away after he fell, I realized it looked just like someone I went to high school with named Jeremy. Does anyone know who that guy was?

Thanks very very much for this one ... this Summer Tour was the only one in which my late wife and I were able to make every show (probably since there were only nine)... but although each one memorable, we both always felt this was the best night of the nine shows. We were sitting down fairly close on the lower level so we could see and there were at least 2 on the balcony, I didn't remember one jumping, but I do remember a group of guys pulling one guy off so the band could start back up again, must've missed the jumper, I'm sure he was very sore for days afterward!
So thanks for doing this one, it is much appreciated! |

I have just one tiny request. If you torrent an upgrade could you put "upgrade" in the torrent file name that appears on the main page of etree. It's just that myself and some others didn't realize some of these were actual upgrades and as such nearly missed some of your wonderful matrices. Luckily, there are still some seeders left on some of the old ones, so this is just a request for future reference. Thanks again for your unbelievably tireless work, GOLDEN. : ) |

I actually did write "*Matrix Upgrade*" in the upgraded matrixes when they were originally seeded, and I removed the older versions so you just can't get them at etree, unless OCD Eddie seeds the original ones, or something. After about nine months or so, I removed the "Upgrade" part of the torrent file names because I thought that if folk might stumble on it again, they might start freaking and wondering whether or not they got the upgrade, like if it was new or something. I also thought that if someone really wondered, the date, shnid, and database link would say it all. THIS ALWAYS-AVAILABLE INFO, WHEN PROPERLY INTERPRETED AND ACKNOWLEDGED, WILL HELP YOU TREMENDOUSLY. :) |

Thanks jack, I'm back!!! (...and found my 89 Methadone and about 20 Vicodin to boot, so I can not have to go into ectoplasmic shock and freak out and get sick and miss work... COOL!). Ectoplasmic? Dunno, wasn't Wendy O. Williams their singer in the late '70s, early '80s??? Wow, watch out with that chainsaw, baby!!! I'll make the call, "Yeah Doc, sorry about the freakout message, I *DID* find my medicine, and I'm O-K! Thank you very much... " Hate it when that happens... It's like, "Yeah, I'm so fucked up I can't even remember where I put my medicine, uh, can I get another script... please?" In my defense, I did just move, and I had to search about 20 boxes, my pickeup truck, entiree etra cab and ong bed filled with boxes and boags, amnd sassorted plastic bags, more than a couple dozen... OK. I'm forgiven, eh? Let's play some rock 'n' roll!!!

| Actually 32 and 2/3 Vicodin, life is good, pain is not, trust me I NEED this stuff to work or I'm on disability, and I've already had to quit sitting at desks doing tech support and now take home 1/3 of what I used to so, no, I'm NOT happy about it. BTW, heard a show that was matrixed too fast (at least in 1st set) the other day, can't remember which one, but if you heard the band enough, you SHOULD be able to tell when they are playing too fast. The band, esp. as the 80s wore on, almost alwasy played at a relaxed (soemtimes VERY releaxed) pace. You don't hear "bright, chipper, and quickly paced" versions of songs, for clues listen to the vocals (did they really sing that high?) and Jerry's solos... He played a lot of fast stuff, but some riffs are way speeded up and Jerry didn't play them THAT fast EVER. Listen, study, ponder... take a break. Enjoy, and... thanks! (Don't know who's matrix it was, btw, I think maybe not yours... may a GMB or, not sure... Chappelle? Dunno, think it might have been, tho, that's the name I remember... and pretty sure it was a late 70s or early to mid 80s show...). |
