Additional notes about this source:
Mark Nutter kindly allowed Scott to run this rig throughout the Summer tour.
A 15ft digital line from Scott's PDR1000 was connected to a digital patchbay
from which a great many tapes were recorded, including some of the previously
circulating sources. After the tour, all of the master DATs were cloned for
Mark Nutter. Subsequent clones from Mark Nutter's copies have also been seeded
over the years. This series is the first transfer of the master dats at the head
of this chain.
Thanks to Mark for the gear. Thanks to Scott for running it and
thanks again to Scott for lending me the masters to transfer.

| I went to this show ten years ago tonight. I got my orange t-shirt from the tour now. My buddy Matt and I left Denver after our shifts as counselors at an at-risk youth center, made it just across the border into Kansas, and then hauled ass the rest of the way, through some pretty nasty weather, and made it to Sandstone at about two-thirty in the afternoon. Gordo walked through the lot a bit before show time. I'm pretty sure that this was the debut of the new stage set-up, with Mike and Trey trading places, and Fish in the back instead of stage left. I love this show. But does anybody else hear somebody horribly out of key on "Free?" Sounds like Trey isn't with Page and Mike at all during the solo. OR maybe it's just me... |

| I listened to this show yesterday and also noticed something amiss during Free. It was pretty glaring! They stretched out this version a bit more than usual, possibly to make up for the botched composed section - cool! I also really liked the opening set II Coil. There was not as much of a Page piano coda as usual. Trey stuck around and played with him - very beautiful! The Stash also had some quiet passages that were atypical for the song. |

| This is an average show that's way above average! Some sneaky moments in this show...bathtub, stash, bug->my left toe, and everyone's favorite encore; bouncin, sample!! ;) This show would be a great one for newbies to get! |

| I remember getting absolutely soaked before the show on the lawn... I also got to see Mike in the lot. I smiled at him and said hello and he looked at me like he wanted to kill me...? And yes, this was the first show where they switched the stage arrangement with Fish in the back and Trey and Mike changing places. Next it was off to Nashville where i got soaked again!!! |
