Hello all,
Here is the Beau Soleil set from Fitzgeralds last night. I went to Fitzgeralds to tape Cornmeal and got there early enough to catch Beau Soleil as well. This band looked interesting to me on the schedule and I think I've definitely heard of them in the past but never had actually seen them. All I can say is check these guys out. Cajun swing at its best, they can really get a room moving and their style of music is a rarity. It left me wanting a bowl of cajun stew from the Dinosaur Cafe in Missoula, Montana oddly enough....

1rst time I saw these guys they opened up for the GD at madi gras at the oak coluseum back in the late 80's...glad they're still around, whata band :) |

LMAO.....check these guys out.....I'll always thank a taper, but you're preaching to the choir of which this band has a critical mass in terms of having seen and partied with them. Beausoleil has been making great music, spreading fun and dancing all night long for years.
Thanks again for your taking the time taping it and upping Michael's set. Looking forward to riding a Rocks Off boat ride out of Manhattan in the coming weeks with Marcia Ball.
