| the infamous shut out show.i got to listen to the sugar mag tease by an open door but was quickly told to remove myself from the property.i should have never cut cross country practice that Saturday.i had no idea that it was the 1st night of the fall tour.yup,the only crazy fingers of the year.i've been listening to a nak 300 source my friend Adam patched out of. go figure.could this be the lead deck after all these years. THANK YOU for the killer find.I luv the year 1983. One last thing,not one Morning Dew on this tour.bummer |

It could very well be pure dig........the hiss your hearing could be from the PA itself
Not that I ever noted hiss coming out of the PA
This looks nice, I was there with my Sony Walkabout WA66 and held it up for the entire show |

| yes sir my request for the crazy fingers is true.i asked everyone in the band except phil. i must have been talked about during the sound check.you can ytube crazy fingers and witness jerry practicing crazy fingers before the show. ahhhhhh memories. |

| I never paid much attention to the PA until I taped the Carrier Dome two weeks later, twenty rows back with my D5. I had Maxell metal tapes and thought "NO gen hiss for me this night!" I was psyched. I was then shocked at how much hiss was coming from the PA. It then came to me that a couple of gens were almost irrelevent to the PA hiss. And I don't hear much discussion about it with tapers? |
