my notes:
Since Brad announced the source change I went ahead and changed it here.
Anyways this is a fantastic show and overlooked. One of my favorite Bowies, Bathtubs and Forbins.
I have been fluffing this show a lot lately and figured I should put it back up for the masses once again.
Thanks go out to the tapers for their hard work and dedication.
Thanks for the bands that allow us to tape and for putting out quality music!
None of this would be possible without them!

Cool! I was at this show too, in fact it was my 29th B-day, I saw Mike before the show and asked if they could do The Mango Song. He kind of demurred a bit so I asked for Tela instead. HA! He said they hadn't practiced Mango and he'd talk to Trey.
At the beginning of the 2nd set we were up front and my friends and I all screamed "Tela"! So Trey looks at us and says "Tequila!" then plays it on the guitar. So all thru the Bowie they keep going back to the Tequila theme. Then at the end of the Bowie--right into Mango!
What a great, beautiful present. Trey, Mike, Page and Fish if you ever read this I just want to say "thanks for all the Phish"! Love you guys forever!
Peace out
Joe |
